Hello!
I’m Jessica, a New York-based writer and editor. I currently lead a vertical, manage partnerships, and cover all things shopping and Amazon as a Senior Director at Dotdash Meredith. I’m also a reporter for People, InStyle, Real Simple, and the rest of the brands at the Dotdash Meredith Corporation.
During my tenure at Dotdash Meredith, I’ve reported the best Amazon deals for People.com, compiled fun finds for Real Simple’s shopping newsletter, and created content for my RealSimple.com “I Shop Amazon for a Living” series, which you can read about here:
I Shop Amazon for a Living and These Are the Best Things I’ve Ever Bought
I Shop Amazon for a Living and These Are the Holiday Gifts I’m Buying for My Family
I Shop Amazon for a Living and These Are the Beauty Products I Can’t Stop Buying
Prior to my current role, I worked as an editor for Woman’s Day, Cosmopolitan, Redbook, and Country Living where I covered crafts, lifestyle, and all things Chip and Joanna Gaines (you can read about that here and here).
My work has also been published and syndicated by GoodHouseKeeping.com, FastCompany.com, Business Insider, and TIME, among others. And I’ve interviewed celebrities and experts, like Sarah Jessica Parker, Drew Barrymore, Kristen Bell, Lauren Conrad, Joanna Gaines, Ree Drummond, Kendra Scott, and Rebecca Minkoff.
Before earning my master’s degree in Magazines, Newspapers, and Online Journalism at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in 2015, I studied Fashion Design and Merchandising at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA and graduated in 2014.
Design, style, and DIY are a few of my passions, and when I’m not putting my online shopping skills to good use, I’m likely watching Fixer Upper reruns, baking something sweet, or exploring the city.
